A paint and sip class themed around pumpkins glowing by moonlight, with a DIY candle add-on available.
Pinot's Palette is hosting Moonlight Mischief, a paint and sip class, on Monday, October 19, from 7 PM to 9 PM. The session is themed around pumpkins glowing by moonlight, so you'll be painting a fall scene that fits the season. The studio is located in the Short North, right in the heart of Columbus, and they describe it as an upscale paint and sip art studio that handles everything from corporate parties and special occasions to date nights, girls' nights out, family fun and fundraisers.
One of the best things about these classes is that no painting experience is required. You don't need to have ever picked up a brush to join in, and all the supplies are included, so you just show up. The studio also has a full bar and upbeat music playing throughout the evening, which keeps the atmosphere light and social rather than like a formal art class. It's as much about the drinks and the company as it is about the painting.
There's also a DIY Candle Add-On available for an extra $25. If you opt for it, you'll need to arrive 30 minutes early to make your own custom-scented, all-natural soy candle before the painting starts. It's a nice way to stretch the night into a full evening of making things, and you'll leave with both a painting and a candle. The class itself runs from 7 PM to 9 PM, so if you go for the candle, you'll be there from 6:30 PM.
