Halloween-themed paint and sip session painting a campfire ghost scene, with an optional DIY soy candle add-on.
Pinot's Palette Short North is hosting a Halloween-themed paint and sip session, Campfire Ghost Stories, on Thursday, October 22, from 7 PM to 9 PM. The painting is built around a single scene: two cute ghosts gathered around a crackling campfire in the woods, one of them roasting a marshmallow. It's spooky but not too scary, so it works as a low-stakes way to get into the October spirit without needing any painting experience—all the supplies are included, and you're encouraged to bring your favorite people along.
If you want to make a night of it, there's a DIY candle add-on for an extra $25. You'll make your own custom-scented, all-natural soy candle that cures while you paint, so you walk away with two projects instead of one. A full bar is available at the studio, and the whole thing runs two hours, which is plenty of time to finish the painting and the candle without feeling rushed.
