Halloween-themed paint-and-sip workshop to create a spooky classic-inspired painting, with an optional DIY soy candle add-on.
Pinot's Palette is hosting Paint and Sip: Ookie Spookie on Saturday, October 31, at their studio on 691 N High St in Columbus. It's one of several Halloween-themed workshops they're running that week, so if you're looking for something to do on Halloween night, this is a good spot to land. The session is built around a spooky, classic-inspired painting, and the studio provides aprons for everyone. Just a heads-up: acrylic paint doesn't wash out of clothing, so you'll want to wear something you don't mind getting a bit of paint on, even with the apron.
There's an optional DIY candle add-on for $25. If you go for it, you'll pour your own all-natural soy candle, and the studio asks that you arrive 30 minutes before class starts to get it done. It's a separate thing from the painting, so you can do both or just stick to the canvas.

Between the painting and the candle, it's a full evening's worth of making. The studio is at 691 N High St, right in the Short North area, so it's easy to get to and close to plenty of other spots if you're planning to make a night of it. The painting is the main event, and the candle is the extra you can tack on if you're in the mood for two projects in one go. The candle add-on is $25, and the session is on Saturday, October 31.
