Friday food truck night with Ninja Bowl, a Columbus mobile kitchen of Japanese street food and Southeast Asian rice bowls, at Bada Bean Bada Booze.
Ninja Bowl is pulling up to Bada Bean Bada Booze on Friday, October 16, as part of the Food Truck Fridays series. If you've spent any time around the Columbus food truck scene, you've probably seen them around—they're a local mobile operation that works their way across Central Ohio, serving up Japanese street food and Southeast Asian rice bowls.
The bowls are the main draw here. They're built around a base of rice and topped with your choice of protein: grilled teriyaki chicken, savory beef, or tofu for the vegetarians. One of the better things about them is that you set your own spice level, so you can keep it mild or push it as far as you can handle. They're hearty, healthy, and customizable enough that you can tweak them to your liking.
Beyond the bowls, they also do Japanese street food, and they're a regular at neighborhood festivals. When they aren't out at events, they feed office parks for lunch and handle private catering and corporate functions. This Friday is one of those times you can just walk up and get a bowl without needing a party or a corporate account.
