Food truck Friday with tacos, burritos, quesadillas and nachos from Tortilla Street Food, which makes its own tortillas by hand.
Tortilla Street Food is rolling into Bada Bean Bada Booze on Friday, October 30, as part of Food Truck Fridays. It's a Columbus food truck that does things a bit more from scratch than you'll find at most windows: they make their own tortillas by hand every day and prepare their signature salsas from scratch, so the base of everything is fresh rather than store-bought.
The menu is built around a build-your-own format, which means you call the shots on what goes into your order. You can put together tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos, and you'll choose your protein from carne asada, al pastor, carnitas, chorizo, grilled chicken, or vegetarian options. If you're not in the mood for meat, the vegetarian choice keeps the same formats open—tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos—so you're not stuck with a limited subset of the menu. And for something sweet to follow, they have churros rolled in cinnamon.

Because it's a build-your-own setup, you can mix and match across the board. You might go for carne asada in a taco and al pastor in a burrito, or stick to one protein across a few different styles. The tortillas are made by hand every day, and the salsas are made from scratch, so the flavor comes from the prep rather than a bottle. It's a straightforward way to get a full meal out of a truck: tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and churros for dessert. Tortilla Street Food will be at Bada Bean Bada Booze on Friday, October 30.
