Cambridge's main Christmas lights switch-on in Market Square with live performances, crowd games and giveaways, family friendly.
The BIG Switch On at Market Square returns to Market Square on Sunday 15 November, when the city's Christmas lights are officially switched on. It's one of the main dates in Cambridge's festive calendar, and the whole afternoon is built around that one moment when the lights finally come on.
It's a family-friendly day, and the stage runs with live performances throughout. Josh Lovatt hosts the proceedings, with entertainment from Ruby Flames, whose performers wear LED costumes. Between the acts, there's also the announcement of the winners of Cambridge BID's Mystery Shop.
