Free Family Halloween Hunt with L&Q at Darwin Green

L&Q are running a free family Halloween hunt at Darwin Green on Saturday 31 October, from 11am to 3pm. It's a trail for families to do together, and you'll need to book a free place in advance via Eventbrite — one ticket per party.

Here's how it works: you pick up a Halloween bingo card at the L&Q Marketing Suite, then follow a route around the development to find nine spooky characters hidden along the way. Once you've tracked them all down, you head back to the start to collect a free sweet treat. It's a simple enough setup, so it's as much about the walk as the hunt itself.

If you're not familiar with the area, Darwin Green is a new community in Cambridge built around a central square with schools, shops and a health centre, with Central Parks offering 15 acres of open space. The whole neighbourhood is designed around cycling, with 80 miles of designated lanes and routes, so it's a good spot for a family stroll. The hunt takes place outdoors around the development, starting and finishing at the L&Q Marketing Suite at 2 Wallace Way, Cambridge, CB3 0YJ.

The L&Q sales team will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions about the homes and the Shared Ownership buying process, so if you've been curious about the new build, it's a chance to ask while the kids are busy with the trail. The hunt runs from 11am to 3pm on Saturday 31 October, and it's free to attend, provided you book your place in advance.
