First Christmas wreath-making workshop at the independent plant shop Rooted & Co in the Brighton Open Market, with mulled wine and mince pies.
Rooted & Co are running a Christmas wreath-making workshop at their shop in the Brighton Open Market, and it's their first one ever. Gintare and Maija are leading the sessions, and the whole thing is set up as a relaxed couple of hours rather than a formal class. You'll build a winter wreath from scratch using a fragrant mix of fresh eucalyptus, seasonal winter berries and flowers, and then finish it off with your choice of festive decorations — a bit of a departure from the standard supermarket look.
There's no floristry experience needed, so you don't have to be a pro to get stuck in. While you work, the botanical team serves hot mulled wine, warm mince pies and festive music, which should keep things cosy as the weather turns. Spaces are strictly capped to keep the sessions intimate, and under-18s need to come along with a parent or legal guardian.
