Family Halloween walkabout with two giant pink 'learner' witches bringing magic and mishaps to Thinktank, with 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00 sessions.
Watch out for Witches! is running at Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum on Monday 26 October, as part of the museum's Halloween activities. It's a walkabout session, with three to choose from throughout the day: 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00.
The whole thing centres on two giant pink 'learner' witches on the loose around the museum. They're larger-than-life costumed characters who are still getting to grips with their magical powers, and most of the fun comes from them getting it slightly wrong. Attempting to fly, scaring unsuspecting visitors and remembering their spells all prove a bit tricky, with plenty of mishaps and magical mayhem along the way. It's a family-friendly way to add some Halloween magic to a day out at Thinktank, and a parent has to stay with the group.

If you're planning to go, it's worth knowing that the walkabouts are included in the admission ticket, so there's no separate booking needed. You just need to be at the museum on the day. Thinktank is at Curzon Street, B4 7XG, and with the sessions at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00, you can pick whichever one fits your day best.
