The ultimate dance celebration with competitions, workshops, performances, auditions and exhibitors for dancers of all levels.
The Super Weekender Dance Convention takes over NEC Campus, Halls 9 & 10 on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November, and it's a big one. It's billed as the ultimate celebration of dance, and the scale matches the name: more than 15,000 dancers, spectators and industry professionals gather at the NEC Birmingham each year, so it's a proper hub for the community rather than just a one-off show.
What makes it work is that it runs on several fronts at once. There are dance competitions for those coming to compete, workshops to get stuck into, and performances to watch. Auditions run alongside all that, so if you're looking for your next move, you can do it right there. Between the sessions, there's a range of exhibitors showcasing products and services for dancers and dance lovers, so you can browse the stalls when you're not on the floor. It's built to suit everyone from aspiring beginners to seasoned performers, so you don't need to be a pro to find something that works for you.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Birmingham and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

It's a two-day affair, with the doors open from 08:30 to 19:00 on both Saturday and Sunday, so you've got plenty of time to pick and choose what you want to see or do across the weekend. Tickets range from £27.50 to £50, and if you're driving in, pre-paying for parking knocks £5 off the cost.
