Interactive science show for 7-11 year olds and their grown-ups, mixing engineering challenges and molten chocolate, from One Tenth Human.
Daniel Bye & One Tenth Human bring So Unfair to MAC Birmingham on Friday 30 October, with two shows that day: one at 11:00am and another at 2:00pm. It's an interactive science show built for 7-11 year olds and their grown-ups, and it's a new piece from the team behind it.
On stage, Daniel Bye takes the lead, and the audience is invited to get stuck into big challenges and help him change the world. It's an adventure that mixes engineering problems, bad dad jokes and an extraordinary quantity of molten chocolate, with engineers from across the UK zooming in to lend a hand. The whole thing runs for an hour.
So Unfair was created by Daniel Bye, Sarah Punshon, Toni-Dee Paul and Matt Powell, and it's presented by One Tenth Human in association with The Dukes Lancaster. The team has a track record with children's theatre: previous shows have been called 'riveting, funny and thoughtful' by The Guardian and 'really great children's theatre' by Exeunt. This one forms part of MAC Birmingham's October Half Term programme, so it's a good shout if you're looking for something to do with the kids during the break.
