Screening of the 2026 Australian supernatural horror film Leviticus, directed by Adrian Chiarella, at the MAC Birmingham.
Leviticus is coming to the MAC Birmingham cinema in Edgbaston, with two screenings on Saturday 24 October and Monday 26 October. It's the feature debut from writer-director Adrian Chiarella, and it arrives from the producers behind Talk To Me and The Babadook, so it's got a bit of a pedigree coming with it.
The story follows two teenage boys whose forbidden relationship unleashes a terrifying supernatural entity that takes the form of the person they desire most: each other. From there it works as a double act, blending nerve-shredding suspense with an emotionally powerful love story. It's a horror that sits as much in the tension of the relationship as it does in the supernatural, and the two halves run alongside each other for the whole thing.
UK screenings are limited, so these Birmingham dates are one of the few chances to catch it on the big screen. The film runs for 1 hour 43 minutes, and the Monday showing is an audio-described version with Descriptive Subtitles, which is worth keeping in mind if you're booking for a group. Tickets start from £11.95.
