Children's theatre show with state-of-the-art walking dinosaurs in which rangers rescue a baby Ankylosaurus from an evil scientist.
Dino Tales comes to The Crescent Theatre on Saturday 24 October, a matinee show that's recommended for ages four and up. It's produced by Prestige Productions, and the full title is Dino Tales - Jurassic Rescue.
The story follows a group of rangers into the forest on a mission to find a missing baby Ankylosaurus, before an Evil Scientist can capture her for testing in his lab. The rescue is aided by a cast of walking dinosaurs, and the production describes them as state-of-the-art, with some of the largest articulated creatures ever to walk a stage. Among them are Freya the Dancing Velociraptor, Dylan the Dilophosaurus, Angie the Ankylosaurus, Scar the Spinosaurus, and Bruce the mighty T-Rex.
It's billed as an immersive prehistoric safari rescue adventure, and the matinee time makes it a good shout for a family afternoon out. The show runs at 2pm, so you'll be out and about in the middle of the day rather than late into the evening.

It's got a main house that seats over 300 and a smaller studio theatre that takes more than 100, so there's a bit of room to breathe even if you're bringing the whole family. Dino Tales is on Saturday 24 October at 2pm.
