Comedy improvisation workshop led by Diana Brown at MAC Birmingham, part of the Birmingham Improv Festival.
Diana Brown is running a comedy workshop at MAC Birmingham on Friday 6 November, and it's one of the sessions that makes up this year's Birmingham Improv Festival. If you've never come across the festival before, it's a few days of improv comedy taking over the MAC, and this workshop sits right in the middle of it.
The festival runs from Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 November, so Brown's session falls on the second day. The organisers are calling this edition their best and boldest yet, and they've brought together teachers and performers from the UK, Europe and the USA. That's a fair bit of ground to cover for one festival, and it means you'll find people coming in from quite a way off to lead these sessions.
If you're planning to do more than just the workshop, there's a festival pass that gives you access to every show on the programme. It's a good option if you're going to be around for most of the four days, as it lets you drift in and out of the different performances without having to book each one separately. Between the workshop on Friday and the shows running from Thursday through Sunday, there's plenty to pick from across the whole weekend.
