Christmas breakfast with Santa at the Signal Box Cafe in Thinktank, where children receive a gift and a festive photo with Santa.
Breakfast with Santa is back at Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum this December, as part of their wider Christmas programme. It's a sit-down morning at the Signal Box Cafe, and it runs across several dates: 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 December, with each session starting at 9:00am and lasting two hours. If you're planning it, you'll need to book in advance.
The morning is built around the meal, with Santa visiting every table to say hello, hand-deliver a gift to each child and pose for a festive photo, with cheerful elves on hand. The children get to choose between pancakes or a mini English breakfast, served with juice or milk. Adults get a full English breakfast, with a vegetarian option available, and tea or coffee. If you've got babies in arms under 12 months, they don't need a ticket if they're accompanying another paying child, unless you want them to have the full Santa experience with their own meal and gift.
One thing to keep in mind is that you're asked to pre-order your breakfast when you buy your ticket, so it's worth thinking about what everyone wants before you book. If anyone in your group has allergies or dietary requirements, you'll need to email hello@birminghammuseums.org.uk to let them know. The ticket also includes on-the-day admission to Thinktank, so you can spend the rest of the morning exploring the museum after you've finished eating.
