Night of dance music with Jagz Kooner, supported by Danny Rose and Paul Williams, at Temper & Brown in the Jewellery Quarter.
Jagz Kooner plays Temper & Brown on Saturday 14 November, presented by All Together Now. It's a dance session, so the focus is on the floor rather than a stage. Kooner is a name that carries a fair bit of weight in electronic music, and if you've spent any time in the clubs around here, you've likely come across his work without even realising it.
He's one half of Sabres of Paradise, the project that helped shape the UK's dance scene in the nineties, and he's also known for Aloof. Between those, he's worked as a producer and remixer for a long list of artists, so the set will draw from a deep well of house and techno. It's the kind of night that works as well for people who've followed him for years as it does for anyone who just wants a proper Saturday night in the city.
He won't be on his own, either. Danny Rose and Paul Williams are on support, so the music starts well before Kooner takes over. The whole thing is part of the Temporance pop-up parties that All Together Now has been running at Temper & Brown, which is in the Jewellery Quarter. If you've been to one of the other Temporance nights, you'll know the format: a focused line-up and a dancefloor that stays the centre of attention.

It kicks off at 16:00, which is early for a dance night, so you can get your dancing in and still have your evening ahead of you. That puts it right in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, easy enough to get to from the city centre. Jagz Kooner on the decks, Danny Rose and Paul Williams warming up, and the whole thing starting at 4pm on Saturday 14 November at Temper & Brown.
