Student-only 18+ Desi Halloween night of South Asian, Punjabi and UK Desi music at LAB11 in Digbeth.
Desi Beatz are back in Birmingham on Tuesday 27 October with their HALLOWEEN MELA, this time at LAB11 in Digbeth. It's the tenth year in a row they've run it, and it's billed as the UK's most popularly attended Desi Halloween extravaganza, which they say sells out every year.
If you're not familiar with the name, Desi Beatz started back in 2007. They've spent nearly two decades bringing people together through South Asian music, culture and events, and they've grown into a brand that connects thousands of music lovers and partygoers. The sound they work with is a broad mix of South Asian, Punjabi, urban and commercial: Bollywood classics and Punjabi anthems alongside Bhangra, UK Desi sounds, hip-hop, R&B and commercial favourites. It's a wide reach, and the brand does more than just the traditional club night, with freshers events, Holi celebrations, SummerJam, daytime parties, brunches and large-scale festivals, and they maintain a nationwide network across the UK and beyond.
There's one important thing to keep in mind before you book: this is a student-only 18+ night. You'll need proof of enrolment or a valid student ID, plus a valid driving licence or passport, to get in. It's a strict requirement, so make sure you've got your ID sorted before you head down.
