Strictly 18+ Halloween club night billed as Birmingham's biggest, with immersive Purge visuals, a costume contest and a mash-up of house, tech and disco.
Halloween Purge takes over Club Colette on Thursday 29 October, with the night running from 11:00pm to 3:00am. It's put on by Ultimate Freshers, who've billed it as Birmingham's biggest Halloween event. The whole thing is built around the idea that for one night the rules are gone and the city descends into what they call 'beautifully orchestrated madness'.
They're leaning hard into the immersive side of things, so it's not just a DJ in a booth. The club will be fully decked out in Halloween decor, with Purge-themed visuals and a full production running throughout the night. The music is billed as 'The Arena of Anarchy'—a mash-up of House, Tech, Disco, Sinister RnB, Hip Hop, Cheese, Pop Classics and Throwbacks, so it's a broad mix rather than sticking to one genre. If you're the type who likes a bit of everything, that's the one to keep in mind.
There's a costume element to it too. You're encouraged to 'Dress for the Purge' in masks, sirens, rebels and villains, and there's a 'Best Dressed Reward' for the most terrifying look, which gets you exclusive VIP treatment and a 'sinister surprise'. It's strictly 18+, so keep that in mind if you're planning a group.
