Halloween screening of the film 'Hocus Pocus' at The Belfast Barge on the River Lagan.
Hocus Pocus is screening at The Belfast Barge on Saturday 31 October, the day itself. It's a 1:00pm start, and the film runs 95 minutes, so you'll be out by 2:35pmāplenty of time left over for whatever else you've got planned for Halloween.
If you haven't seen it, the story follows three witches who were sentenced to die in Salem three hundred years ago. They manage to come back to life and set about terrorising the town's trick-or-treaters, riding on vacuum cleaners instead of broomsticks. The only thing that can stop them is a black cat, who is actually a boy turned into a cat on the day of the witches' original execution. It's a PG rating for mild scary scenes, violence and sex references, and no ticket is needed for a child under two who doesn't need their own seat.
