Relaxed and inclusive afternoon comedy show mixing up-and-coming talent with familiar favourites of the Northern Ireland comedy scene.
Coven Comedy Club is back at The Black Box on Saturday 24 October, and it's an afternoon show, which is a nice change of pace if you're not usually one for a late night. It's a relaxed and inclusive comedy club that mixes up-and-coming talent with familiar favourites from the Northern Ireland comedy scene, so you'll get a bit of both: newer names working through their sets alongside comics who've been around the local circuit for a while. It's the kind of bill that works whether you're a regular at Belfast comedy or just fancy a laugh on a Saturday afternoon.
The venue is The Black Box on Hill Street, which has been one of the city's most loved spots since 2006. It's known for live performances and for its Green Room Bar, and they do craft and draught beers, so you can grab a drink before the show starts. If you're coming from outside the city centre, it's at 18-22 Hill Street, BT1 2LA.

Doors open at 14:30 and the show starts at 15:00, so you've got plenty of time to get settled in and have a drink before the first act takes the stage. Tickets are £5 plus a booking fee, and because it's an afternoon slot, you'll still have the rest of your Saturday evening ahead of you. It's a straightforward, low-cost way to catch a few different comics in one go.
