Screening of Tim Burton's 'Corpse Bride' at the ODEON Belfast with a pre-screening Halloween face-painting station in the foyer.
Corpse Bride is showing at ODEON Belfast on Friday 30 October, part of the Halloween programme for the 37th Cinemagic Film Festival. It's Tim Burton's animated feature: the timid young Victor is whisked away to the underworld and married to a mysterious corpse bride, while his real bride, Victoria, waits for him in the land of the living. It's a story of dark humour, romance and hauntingly beautiful visuals that look at love beyond death, and the BBFC warns of mild violence, threat, scary scenes and injury detail.
The screening runs from 11:00 to 12:20, but the real draw for the younger crowd comes before the lights go down. There's a pre-screening face-painting station in the ODEON foyer, open from 10:00, where children can transform into their favourite Halloween characters before the film starts. If you're bringing the kids, arriving early gives them plenty of time to get sorted before the screening kicks off.
