Stand-up show by Colin Murphy, his tour 'Funnier Than It Looks', with commentary on the oddballs he has met and the state of the world.
Colin Murphy brings his new tour, Funnier Than It Looks, to the Grand Opera House in Belfast on Friday 14 May and Saturday 15 May 2027, with both nights starting at 8:00pm. It's a two-night run, so you've got a choice of the Friday or the Saturday if one doesn't suit.
Murphy describes the show as bursting with cock-ups, judgemental passes and remarkable commentary on the oddballs he's met and the state of the world. He's also promised to keep it clean — though he adds 'well, mostly', which is usually where the best bits come from. It's a full-length set, running for two hours with an interval, so you'll have a break to stretch your legs and grab a drink halfway through.
There are a couple of things to keep in mind before you book. The show is recommended for ages 16+, and it contains strong language and adult themes, so it's not one to bring the kids along to. If you're deciding between the two dates, the Friday and Saturday shows are the same set, just on different nights.

Tickets range from £26.50 to £32.00, and that includes the maximum applicable per-ticket booking fee, so the price you see is what you'll pay. Both nights start at 8:00pm at the Grand Opera House.
