A toddler storytime session with animal sounds, reading, singing, and activities for children aged 1 to 5, held within the Goizueta Children's Experience.
Toddler Storytime: Zoo Pals is at the Atlanta History Center on Wednesday, Dec 2, from 10 AM to 11:40 AM. It's part of a monthly series for the museum's youngest visitors, ages 1 to 5, which runs on the first Wednesday of every month.
This particular session is built around animal sounds, reading, and singing. The format is the same as the rest of the series: storytelling paired with activities that get kids moving—songs, games, and a craft tied to the month's theme. The time is split between the class and the crafting, so there's a bit of sitting and listening followed by something to do with their hands.
The whole thing takes place inside the Goizueta Children's Experience, an immersive, multi-sensory environment made possible by The Goizueta Foundation. It's designed for everyone from crawlers to second graders, and the theme rotates every year, so it's a different space to explore each time you visit. If you've got a little one in that age range, it's a good spot to let them run around and engage with things on their own terms.
