Toddler storytime for young children aged 1 to 5, combining storytelling with movement, songs, games and a craft activity.
Atlanta History Center is hosting another Toddler Storytime on Wednesday, November 4, from 10 AM to 11:40 AM. This month's theme is Happy Helping Hands, and it's part of their monthly series that runs on the first Wednesday of every month.
If you haven't been before, the format is built for the youngest visitors. It's not just sitting and listening to a book; they combine storytelling with activities that get kids movingโsongs, games, and a craft that ties back to the month's theme. The sessions are aimed at children aged 1 to 5, so it works for toddlers and preschoolers alike. There are two separate reading sessions during the morning, which gives you some flexibility on when you drop in.
It's a good way to spend a Wednesday morning if you're home with a little one. Between the stories and the craft, there's enough going on to keep them occupied for a while, and since it's a recurring series, it's easy to make a habit of it. The Happy Helping Hands theme should be a hit with kids who love to 'help' around the house.
