A toddler storytime session featuring stories, songs, and crafts, included with admission to the Atlanta History Center.
Atlanta History Center is hosting Toddler Storytime: I Spy! on Wednesday, March 3, at 10 AM. It's one of those mid-week morning things that works well if you're already out with your little ones, and since it's on a Wednesday, it's a good way to break up the week.
The session is built around the basics of a toddler storytime: stories, songs, and crafts. The stories are read aloud, the songs get the kids moving, and the crafts give them something to work on with their hands. It's a mix of listening, singing, and doing, which usually keeps toddlers engaged longer than just sitting through a single book. The "I Spy!" theme suggests a bit of a scavenger hunt feel to the morning, so expect some looking and finding woven into the activities.
It's an onsite event, meaning it happens right there at the Atlanta History Center. If you've been before, you know the grounds are plenty to explore, so you can make a whole morning of itβcome early, stay for the storytime, and then wander around the museum and the gardens afterward. It's a nice way to let the kids burn off some energy before heading home.

One practical thing to keep in mind: the session is included with admission. You'll need a ticket to the History Center to get in, but once you're inside, the storytime doesn't cost anything extra. It starts at 10 AM on Wednesday, March 3, so you can plan your morning around that.
