A toddler storytime session where children celebrate self-love through singing, dancing, and reading the book 'I Like Myself'.
Atlanta History Center is hosting Toddler Story Time: I Like Myself on Wednesday, May 5, at 10 AM. It's a morning session built for the youngest crowd, so if you've got a toddler and a free Wednesday morning, this is one of those easy ways to get them out of the house.
The whole thing centers on the book I Like Myself, and the theme is exactly what it sounds like: celebrating what makes you, you. It's not just a read-aloud, though. They've built the session around singing, dancing, and reading, so the kids get to move and make noise rather than just sitting still. If your little one is the type who can't stay put during a story, that's actually part of the plan here.

It's a good fit for a mid-week outing, and since it's at the History Center, you're already in a spot where you can hang out for a bit before or after. The session starts at 10 AM, which works well if you're used to the early toddler wake-up call and want to get the energy out before nap time rolls around. It's included with admission, so you're paying for your entry to the museum and getting the story time as part of the day.
