Annual family-friendly Halloween 'trunk-or-treat' alternative at the Fernbank Museum, with themed tables of treats, crafts and activities in the Great Hall.
Fernbank Museum of Natural History is bringing back Dinosaur Trick-or-Treat on Saturday, October 24, from 10 AM to 1 PM. It's their annual Halloween haunt, and they pitch it as a family-friendly alternative to the usual trunk-or-treat: no tricks, just treats. The whole thing takes place in the museum's Great Hall on the first floor, which they fill with themed tables handing out goodies, crafts, and activities for visitors of all ages. It runs while supplies last, so getting there earlier in the window is your best bet.
Costumes are highly encouraged, and the museum asks that you bring your own bags or buckets for the candy. Since it's in the Great Hall, you'll be right in the heart of the museum, and the activities are set up for kids and adults alike, so it works as a morning out with the whole family. The museum is at 767 Clifton Rd NE in Atlanta.
