Stage tribute to the Andersons' sci-fi series Thunderbirds, with Dee Anderson, daughter of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, on her UK tour.
Dee Anderson brings Thunderbirds Are Go! to The Tivoli Theatre on Wednesday 28 April 2027, starting at 7:30pm. It's a tribute to Thunderbirds, the sci-fi series that became one of Britain's best-loved shows, and Anderson is the one person who can tell the story from the inside. She's the daughter of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, the couple who created it, and she grew up right in the middle of that world. She's also the only person who can say 'Lady Penelope was my mum'.
Thunderbirds made its name on supermarionation puppetry and miniature special effects, and it's still remembered for the iconic vehicles like Thunderbird 2 and Barry Gray's signature score. Anderson has turned her childhood memories of that world into a stage tribute to the imagination and the adventures that defined a generation, and she's the one bringing the Andersons' legacy to life on stage. The Aberdeen date is part of a UK tour running from 21 April to 20 June 2027.
