The UK Rock Show

The UK Rock Show comes to the Aberdeen Arts Centre on Sunday 22nd November, with the music starting at 7.30pm. It's a five-piece band recreating hits from the golden age of classic rock, so rather than one band's catalogue, you get a set drawn from several big names across the era.

The setlist pulls from Journey, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Kiss, AC/DC and Van Halen. That's a fair bit of ground to cover in one night, and it's the variety that does the heavy lifting here — you'll hear the melodic side of Journey and Bon Jovi alongside the heavier riffs of AC/DC and Van Halen, with Aerosmith, Def Leppard and Kiss sitting somewhere in between. It's a good mix if you've got a few different favourites from that period and don't want to commit to just one.

There's more to it than just the songs, too. The show is put on by Harder Rock Productions, who describe it as combining the spectacle of a festival with the atmosphere of a top-end rock arena tour, complete with fireworks, flames and extensive lighting. If you've seen their other work, that'll make sense — they're the same producers behind the 'Bon Jovi Forever' 'One Wild Night Tour'.

Tickets are £32.34, and that price includes the booking fee. The show is on Sunday 22nd November at the Aberdeen Arts Centre, starting at 7.30pm.
