Musical extravaganza in which The MacDonald Bros play hits from The Proclaimers, Deacon Blue, Runrig and The Bay City Rollers, backed by dancers and video footage.
The MacDonald Bros are back at the Aberdeen Arts Centre on Saturday 6 March 2027, starting at 7.30pm. They've played out here before, selling out shows in 2025 and 2026, and this is a new production that celebrates Scotland's greatest songs and artists.
It's a multi-instrumental set: the brothers play accordion, fiddle, piano, guitars and Irish whistles, and their vocal harmonies have earned them the nickname 'The Scottish Everly Bros'. The set takes in hits from The Proclaimers, Deacon Blue, Runrig and The Bay City Rollers, backed by dancers and video footage. The show has been described as a 'Scottish Music Extravaganza' and as one of the best shows touring Scottish theatres in 2027.
If you want more than just the show, there's a Meet & Greet you can add when you book for £16.17 per person. That opens from 6.30pm with a soundcheck, a Q&A and photo opportunities, so you'll be in the building well before the main performance starts.
