Musical comedy duo Flo & Joan bring their new show 'With Feeling' to The Tivoli Theatre.
Flo & Joan are playing The Tivoli Theatre on Wednesday 25 November, part of a brand-new show called With Feeling that's touring more than 50 dates across the UK. If you've come across them before, you'll know the two of them are sisters — Nicola and Rosie Dempsey — and they've built their following on a sharp-tongued, deadpan style that blends music and comedy. The new show takes a setlist from a 'real band' as its starting point and builds around it from there.
They've been around long enough to have a fair bit of ground to look back on. They've appeared on Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Performance, and Comic Relief's Red Nose Day Live 2023, and they released their own comedy special, Alive on Stage, for Amazon Prime. The reception has been strong: Bruce Dessau described them as 'almost like a real band' in Beyond a Joke, and The Guardian named them its #1 Comedy Show of 2024. With Feeling is their latest outing, and it's the one they're taking on the road this time.
