Live concert of the music from the Harry Potter films by The Magical Film Orchestra & Choir, presented by actor Matthew Lewis with a Weasley star guest and a film star guest on stage.
The Magical Music of Harry Potter Live in Concert comes to The Tivoli Theatre on Tuesday 17 November, with The Magical Film Orchestra & Choir playing the music from the films. It's presented by Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom, and he's joined by a Weasley star guest and another star guest from the films on stage with him. The whole thing is billed as the only film music concert series in the world to feature a star guest from the Harry Potter films, who presents the music and is available for a free photo with attendees afterwards.
The set pulls together the Oscar-nominated music from across the series, written by five-time Oscar winner John Williams as well as Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper and Oscar winner Alexandre Desplat. It runs from Hedwig's Theme through to Dumbledore's Farewell, with Voldemort's entry theme and Witches, Wands and Wizards along the way. The live performance by the orchestra and choir is rounded off with magical illusions and a Harry Potter quiz.
