Stand-up show 'Peach Fuzz' by Ania Magliano, star of Taskmaster, in her laidback storytelling style.
Ania Magliano brings her show Peach Fuzz to The Lemon Tree on Thursday 22 October, starting at 7:30pm. You might recognise her from the latest series of Taskmaster, but this is her own stand-up, delivered in the laidback, storytelling style she's known for.
Peach Fuzz is built around the quirks of her own body, the legend of Eve, and her newly discovered boundaries. She arrives with another year's worth of stories, confessions, and gossip to share, so it's a set that draws as much from her own life as it does from the stories she tells. The show was nominated for Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, and she's spent time opening for Ed Gamble, Marc Gamble, and Catherine Cohen.
Beyond the stage, she writes for Amelia Dimoldenberg's Chicken Shop Date, and she's had a bit of a reputation on the Off Menu podcast, where her choices were widely regarded as the worst of all time. The Telegraph called her 'a gift for observational comedy', and The Guardian said she 'will have you crying with laughter'.
