Sooz Kempner brings her stand-up show Imposter to Theatre@41 on Sunday 6 December. It's a solo hour that comes from a fairly specific place: Kempner developed it after suddenly losing her voice, an experience that pushed her to confront imposter syndrome head-on. She describes the show as a personal exploration of finding one's voice, silencing online trolls, and reflections on Princess Diana.
If you haven't come across her before, Kempner is an award-winning comedian who works across stand-up and screen. You might recognise her from Doctor Who's Doom's Day or The Now Show, and Imposter is her latest hour on the circuit. It's been getting a good reception along the way, with reviews in The Independent, The Scotsman, and The West End Wilma.
