Stand-up comedy show from British comedian Mike Wozniak, known for his appearances on Taskmaster and Man Down.
Mike Wozniak brings his tour show The Bench to the Grand Opera House on Saturday 12 September, with the performance starting at 19:30. It's a stand-up comedy set, and as the title suggests, a story about a bench sits at the heart of it. The Evening Standard described it as "deliciously distinctive fun" and added that "the story of Wozniak might be the shaggiest of shaggy dog stories you will ever hear" โ so if you're into the kind of comedy that takes its time to get where it's going, this is right up your street.
Wozniak is a British comedian, writer and actor who's probably most recognisable from Taskmaster, where he's a regular, and Man Down. He's also appeared on Junior Taskmaster and hosts the podcast Three Bean Salad, so if you've followed him there, this is a chance to see him doing his own thing on stage. The show runs for about one hour and fifty minutes, with an interval in the middle, so it's a full evening rather than a short set.

It's a paid show, with tickets available through atgtickets.com. The recommended age is 14+, so it's one for the adults and older teens rather than a family outing. The Grand Opera House is in the centre of York, and the 19:30 start gives you plenty of time to get sorted beforehand.
