A high-energy live disco show that brings the magic of the 1970s back to life with a sensational live band and vocalists performing classic disco anthems.
Lost In Music - One Night at the Disco comes to the Grand Opera House on Sunday 20 September, with the show starting at 19:30. It's a brand-new production that takes the disco era back to the stage, built around a live band and powerhouse vocalists performing hits from Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, Earth, Wind & Fire, Chic and Sister Sledge.
The set leans on the halcyon days of the genre, when Studio 54 in New York was the nexus of all things cool, and runs through a string of non-stop anthems like 'I Will Survive', 'Le Freak' and 'Boogie Wonderland'. It's billed as 'The Original Disco Show', and the production encourages audiences to turn up in their best disco clobber. Critics have pointed to its palpable energy, impeccable vocals and contagious party atmosphere.
