If you're wondering what that actually looks like on stage, the show pulls together choreography, mime, clowning and puppetry. It's the kind of thing that works just as well for kids as it does for adults, so it's a family one — suitable for all ages.
The company describes the show as inspired by the genius of Mr Bean, Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton. That gives you a good idea of the territory it covers: physical comedy in the tradition of the great silent era, where the story is told through movement and timing rather than dialogue. It's that kind of broad, visual humour that doesn't need a translation, so it's easy to bring the whole family along.
It runs for three nights, from Thursday 16 to Saturday 18 July, in the Studio at York Theatre Royal. Tickets are on sale at the box office on 01904 623568 and online at yorktheatreroyal.co.uk.
