Stand-up show by Los Angeles comedian and improviser Erin Cholakian at the 18+ venue The Garage at Helium.
Erin Cholakian brings her stand-up to The Garage at Helium on Wednesday, January 6, 2027, at 8 PM. She's a Los Angeles-based comedian, improviser, and actress, half Irish and half Armenian, who describes her own comedy as "chaotic good."
If you've come across her online, you probably recognize her from the viral clips that have made her a name outside the club circuit: giving her number to Jason Segel, coaching Michael B. Jordan on how to throw an axe, and crowd work that turns ex-husbands gay. That's the kind of energy she brings to the stage—unpredictable, leaning into the moment, and not afraid to go to a weird place if it's funny.
She's also been building her own projects. In January 2026, she created The Heated Rivalry Comedy Show, based on the Crave TV series, which she and co-producer Madi Walser have since taken to more than a dozen cities. On top of that, she's one-third of the comedy trio The Brunettes, alongside Anastasia Jacques and Grace Bahler, who are set to drop a podcast. This is a headliner who does a lot more than just stand-up, and that variety tends to show up in the way she handles a room.

A few things to keep in mind before you head out: The Garage at Helium is an 18+ venue.
