A major comedy festival bringing stand-up, improv, sketch and storytelling to St. Louis with 150+ comedians across 12 stages and 50+ shows.
Flyover Comedy Festival returns to St. Louis from November 11 to 15, 2026, for its ninth edition. It's an annual comedy invasion of the city, bringing stand-up, improv, sketch and storytelling to a dozen stages across the core neighborhood and at satellite venues around town. The lineup pulls from national headliners, regional standouts and rising local comics, and the whole thing spreads over four days with more than 50 shows and parties.
Twelve stages are in the mix, including The Pageant, Delmar Hall and The Improv Shop. The program has grown since it started in 2017, and this year it includes Just for Laughs showcases and industry workshops alongside the main shows. There's also a festival tradition of taking the performers on a field trip to a St. Louis gem each year. Past participants have described it as well-curated, hilarious and well-organized.

Performers are selected from submissions and are looked after by the organizers: hotel stays, nightly meals and one hosted lunch are covered, and travel is reimbursed up to $350. Everyone walks away with professional headshots, a festival tote bag with a 2026 tee and poster, and coupons for neighborhood businesses. It's the city's biggest weekend of comedy, and with over 50 shows and parties across 12 stages, you can build your own schedule over the four days.
