Live show by Struggle Jennings, grandson of Waylon Jennings, with support from Ready-Made and Lvcid Kr33p at the Old Rock House.
Struggle Jennings plays the Old Rock House on Sunday, October 18, with Ready-Made and Lvcid Kr33p opening. Doors open at 7 PM and the show starts at 8 PM.
Jennings comes from a heavy country pedigree: he's the grandson of Waylon Jennings and the son of George Strait Jr. He describes himself as the black sheep of the family, and that's a good place to start with him. He worked his way from the streets of West Nashville into the studio, and since his release from prison in 2016, he's played to sold-out crowds and put out several projects. He positions himself as a modern-day outlaw and calls himself the "Godfather of the burgeoning Outlaw Hip Hop Rock & Roll movement," which gives you a fair idea of where he sits—somewhere between country, hip hop, and rock, with the outlaw side of that family tree running through it.
