The largest Nutcracker production in North America, with Moscow Ballet dancers, towering puppets and a local children's cast.
Moscow Ballet brings NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet to The Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis for two days this December. It's a production billed as the largest Nutcracker in North America, set to Tchaikovsky's original score. The show pairs a world-class international cast of dancers with gravity-defying acrobatics, opulent costumes, and towering puppets that stand well above the performers. One of the local touches is that a cast of St. Louis children dances alongside the professional company throughout the performance.
The Fox is a fitting home for a production this size. Over the years, it's hosted more than 15 million visitors, and critics have praised this particular staging as technically supreme, with dazzling, authentically opulent sets. Between the international cast, the acrobatics, and the puppets, it's a lot more than just a standard ballet.

There are three showtimes to choose from: Sunday, December 20, at 2 PM and 6:30 PM, and Monday, December 21, at 2 PM. If you're bringing a group, there are a couple of perks worth knowing. Homeschool groups of 10 or more save 25% and pay no online ticket fees. Groups of 25 or more are invited to a post-show Q&A with one of the soloists, which is a nice way to get a closer look at the production after the curtain closes.
