Special Event: Tahir Moore

Tahir Moore is playing Helium & Elements Restaurant in St. Louis on Wednesday, November 25, starting at 7:30 PM. He's a stand-up comedian with more than a decade of live experience, and his set draws on relatable life stories, clever punchlines and a good deal of crowd work.

If you haven't come across him yet, Moore has a presence that reaches beyond the stage. He's the creator and host of the YouTube series Wording Is Hard and the executive producer of The Squadcast podcast, and he's appeared on HBO's Insecure, Comedy Central, Roast Me and Kevin Hart's LOL Network. That mix of digital work and live comedy is a good way to get a sense of what he brings to the room: quick wit, infectious energy and a magnetic stage presence.

On the night, the show is built around those life stories and punchlines, with the crowd work filling in the gaps between them. It's the kind of set that changes a bit depending on who's in the room, so no two shows end up being exactly the same. The 18+ venue is general admission, which means the main floor is first-come, first-served—if you want a good spot, it's worth getting there early. Reserved seats are assigned by management on the night of the show. The set starts at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, November 25, at Helium & Elements Restaurant.
