Special Event: Ed Larson

Ed Larson is playing Helium Comedy Club in St. Louis on Sunday, December 13, with the show starting at 4 PM. If you recognize the name but can't quite place it, you probably know him from Last Podcast on the Left, the international sensation he co-hosts. He also co-hosts The Brighter Side, so he spends a good deal of his time behind a microphone.

But Larson has a whole other side to his career that doesn't happen on a podcast. He's spent years writing for the Comedy Central Roasts and has worked with Jeff Ross, and that roast-heavy background shows up in his credits. He's written and produced Bumping Mics and Historical Roasts for Netflix, and he's got the Roasts of Justin Bieber, Alec Baldwin, and Bruce Willis on his resume. If you've ever wondered who's behind the scenes of those high-profile takedowns, it's often him.

On the 13th, though, he's the one on stage. It's a stand-up set, so you'll be hearing him perform his own material rather than writing for someone else. The show is at an 18+ venue, and there's a two-item per person minimum in the Showroom, with an 18% administrative fee on all food and beverage purchases. General Admission is first-come, first-served, and Reserved seats are assigned by management on the night. All sales are final. Tickets are $20.
