Sicilian wine tasting with Italian appetizers and over 25 Sicilian wines as a fundraiser for Nurses for Newborns.
The Sicilian Cultural Association of Saint Louis is hosting a Sicilian wine tasting at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac on Sunday, October 25, from 2 PM to 5 PM. It's a fundraiser, and 100% of the money raised goes to Nurses for Newborns, a nonprofit home-visitation program founded in 1992 that serves high-risk families. Specially trained pediatric nurses visit families in their homes to provide health screenings, parenting education, and essential material resources, all with the goal of helping prevent infant mortality, abuse, and neglect.
The afternoon centers on a sampling of more than 25 Sicilian wines, paired with Italian appetizers. If you're not usually one for a full flight, this is a good way to work your way through a lot of different bottles in one go. There's also a photo spot by Showtime Photo Booth, a company that's been doing photo booth experiences for weddings and corporate events since 2013.
