Four-course autumn harvest dinner with wines from City Winery, guided by a wine professional, at City Winery St. Louis.
City Winery St. Louis is hosting the Chef & Winemaker Dinner Series: Harvest on Friday, October 30, a four-course meal built around the richness and warmth of the autumn season. Each course is paired with wines crafted at City Winery, and a wine professional guides you through every pairing with tasting notes, stories, and insights along the way. It's the kind of night where you don't just eat and drink—you actually learn something about what's in your glass.
The menu leans hard into seasonal flavors. It opens with a butternut squash bisque topped with Calvados crème fraîche, followed by a duck confit salad. The main is chicken paillard served with a fall vegetable hash, and the meal closes with an apple crisp finished with whipped Chantilly. The wine pairings follow suit, drawing from the venue's Roussanne Reserve, Pinot Noir Reserve, 'Xylophone' Zinfandel, and Chardonnay.
