Stand-up comedy show by Preacher Lawson at the 18+ Helium & Elements Restaurant in St. Louis.
Preacher Lawson is playing Helium & Elements Restaurant in St. Louis for three nights this December: Friday the 11th, Saturday the 12th, and Sunday the 13th. All three shows start at 7 PM.
Lawson has a bit of a scattered map behind him. He was born in Portland, Oregon, spent a good chunk of his adolescence in Memphis, Tennessee, and says he's from Orlando, Florida, which is where he grew as a comedian. He started writing jokes at 16 and got on stage for the first time a year later on a bet with his mother. By 2015, he was named Funniest Comedian in Florida, and in 2016 he won the Seattle International Comedy Competition.
His television work started on NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly, and he later appeared on Comedy Dynamic's Coming To The Stage and on NBC's America's Got Talentāa run he recently claimed beat the MLB All-Star game in the ratings. He's been working the circuit for years, so this is a headliner set rather than a spot on a mixed bill.

A few things to keep in mind before you go: the St. Louis room is an 18+ showroom, so you'll need to be at least 18 to get in. There's a two-item minimum of food or drink per person, and an 18% administrative fee is added to all food and beverage purchases. General admission is first-come, first-served, so if you want a good spot, you'll want to get there early. All sales are final.
