Make Your Own Monster Mask

Schlafly Library is hosting a monster mask workshop on Saturday, October 31, from 2 PM to 3 PM. It's a hands-on session where you make your own monster mask, and the timing is hard to beat—it falls right on Halloween, so you can finish your mask in the afternoon and have it ready to wear by the evening.

The workshop is open to ages 5 to 18, which covers a wide range. It's a good fit for younger kids who just want to get messy with some craft supplies, and it works for teenagers who want to spend an hour putting something together. Since it's a group activity, it's as much about hanging out and making things with other people as it is about the mask itself.

If you're planning to go, the library is at 225 North Euclid Avenue in St. Louis. The whole thing runs for one hour, from 2 PM to 3 PM, so you'll be in and out with your mask in hand well before the night's festivities kick off. It's free, so there's no ticket to worry about—just show up at the library on Halloween afternoon.
