All-inclusive paint night with a comedic twist, led by a professional artist and a stand-up comedian, with appetizers and a drink ticket.
Paint & Punchlines is coming to Helium & Elements Restaurant on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 7:15 PM. It's a paint night with a comedic twist: a professional artist leads the room as guests create their own artwork, while a St. Louis comedian paints alongside on stage and delivers a play-by-play from the first brushstroke to the final flourish. So, you're painting your own piece while someone on stage is doing the same thing and talking through it in real time.
Once the painting is drying, the evening shifts. Guests get a curated selection of appetizers and small plates to work through, and the comedian closes the night with a short stand-up show. The whole thing is sold as a package that includes those appetizers and a drink ticket, with the first drink included. If you're not a natural with a brush, it's a low-pressure way to spend a Saturday night—you'll have a finished painting to take home, and you get a comedy set out of it too.

There are a few practical things to keep in mind before you head over. Helium is an 18+ venue, so you'll need to be at least 18 to get in. Seating is general admission and first-come, first-served, so if you're going with a group and want to sit together, arriving early is your best bet. There's also a two-item per person minimum in the showroom, and an 18% administrative fee is added to food and beverage purchases. If you can't make the November date, there's a second one on Saturday, December 5, also at 7:15 PM.
