Stand-up show by comedian Lavell Crawford, former 'Last Comic Standing' contestant, at the 18+ Helium & Elements Restaurant.
Lavell Crawford is playing Helium & Elements Restaurant in St. Louis for three nights: Friday, November 27, Saturday, November 28, and Sunday, November 29. The Friday and Saturday shows start at 7 PM. It's a stand-up run, so you've got a few dates to choose from if you can't make the first one.
If you're not familiar with him, Crawford is a stand-up comedian and actor who first got national attention on NBC's Last Comic Standing. That run led to the Comedy Central special Comedy Central Presents Lavell Crawford in 2009 and the stand-up special Can A Brother Get Some Love? that same year. He's spent a lot of time on television, tooβyou might recognize him from Breaking Bad, Chelsea Lately, and Lopez Tonight, and he's appeared on Def Comedy Jam, Comic View, and Motown Live.
He's worked on stage as well. He played Ben in the play Men Cry in the Dark and Bobby in Friends and Lovers, and he's been in films like Baby's Mama Drama, Beverlyhood, and Ghetto South Problems. This run is stand-up, though, so it's just him and a microphone.
