Informal barbecue and networking gathering hosted by the Landscape Architecture department of the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts.
The Landscape Architecture BBQ is happening at Jordan Plaza on Thursday, October 29, from 5 to 7 PM. It's hosted by the Landscape Architecture department of the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, and it's open to everyone.
On the surface, it's exactly what it sounds like—a BBQ on the plaza—but the department pitches it as a chance for the landscape architecture community to network, share ideas and build community. It's an informal gathering, so you don't need to be a student or a professional in the field to stop by. If you've spent any time around the Sam Fox school, you know the plaza is a central spot for the design community to cross paths, and this puts a grill and some food in the middle of it.

If you're planning to go, there is an RSVP to fill out through the BBQ RSVP powered by Concept3D. It's a good move to do that ahead of time so the organizers have a sense of the headcount for food. The whole thing runs from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, October 29, at Jordan Plaza, part of the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis.
